I am almost out of these wonderful swaps to share. I need to get back to the craft table and get creating. It should be easy with dreams of the new catalogue dancing in my head. This card is made by Cybdi Willis. I love the new vanilla tags that are in the mini. They are awesome for cards and scrap book pages. I am still in the hoarding stage with these. This card is so bright and summery. It was designed by Lindsey Stovel. I am now wishing I had ordered the paper and stamps too. They are such fun summer invites or party theme ready. Great card!
This final card for today is my swap card. Boy was it ever a work in progress changing many times before I said Ï like this" The main image is very glittery so it didn't photograph well. But I think it looks great in real life. I love the colour combo and the little flower fusion flower. I am so into making my own flowers these day's it's easy and fun and I do have all the tools.

I hope you all have a fabulous day and happy stampin'.

Happy Victoria Day! The first long weekend and it has been warm and sunny. A good omen for the summer. I hope. I wanted to share a few more cards with you today.
This one is by Debbie Robinson of Alberta. I really like this card and love how she crimped the eyelet border piece. I also like the little bits of glassey glaze on the flowers. A very soft and pretty card.

The card below was created by Kristy Taylor. I really like how she used the big shot tag with the scallop edges and then used the circle scallop on it. The layering is so neat. A great masculine card.

I really like this for Fathers Day or a birthday or long weekend ! This card by Esther McEvoy is full of texture! The brads added as knobs are so cute and she even managed to add in a little smootch spray. ( my personal new product favorite.)

Have a great day and happy stamping.

This is my second cake done with the new Cricut Cake machine. I love this machine!!!! It was so much fun, I was able to cut everything out in paper first to get all the sizes right for the cake.
For this project I used icing sheet's and fondant.
The cake is for a baptism tonight, I really hope they like it. I had a ton of fun doing it, but the hours slipped away as I rolled and cut out images. I am not the cake boss for sure but I love to be able to bring this this love to you as well. Any excuse for cake is a good excuse right!

These are just a couple of more close up pictures of some of the details. I made each little boy idividual to him. Everybody loves cake!!! I'm sure this one will be a hit with the kids.
The frosting sheets are a paper like consistancy but edible. My kids ate the scraps.
May cake be in your future!

Hi, I am back. We were up to the city this week for another surgery for our daughter. It went well and we are home again. We are in the home stretch of these operations with a maximum of 3 more. Then it is over, she opened her eye's in the recovery room and said "this really sucks" poor dolly but it is almost over. It's good to be home and great to be back to my crafting area.
I am trying to get organized for the Colour Renovation and the new Catalogue which I have ordered.......it is so pretty and I've only seen the front cover. That being said, I wanted to share a couple more cards with you today.
The card above was made by Dorothy Seatter. I love her use of Vellum, over glossy card stock. The fairy is stamped, embossed and coloured on the vellum with glittery dust sprinkles. Really a beautiful card.

This card by Donna Henley is way cool. I love the texture she has on the bottom of the card. The embossing is super pretty too. All these cards will be on display on the 26th at 7 pm at Best Friends Fashion Bins in Annapolis Royal.

This card by Tanuny Moussa is super bright and fun. Perfect for those summer party invites and barbeque's. I love her colours and layout. Like I said everybody did their very best and the cards are fabulous.
Thanks for dropping by and may your day be stampy!

Here are some more wonderful cards, made using the items from the new summer mini. Really fabulous and fun. I plan to be in more of these swaps. The card above was made by Amanda Mutter from Kelowna, BC. I love the colour combo, but note that taken with teal will be retiring as of June 30th. The twine tied around the pot is so sweet. It is the small details that really make a project pop!
This card is so pretty. So many people used the new embossing folder (119176) It is great with so many card styles. I also love that it can be used either way for 2 different looks. This card was made by Trish Miles.

This final card for today features the new builder wheels. These are so neat! You can use all 3 together, use just 2 or even 1 alone. You can also stack them any way you like. Using the 3 chamber ink cartridge you can easily use any colour combo you want. We have been promised new wheels in the Idea Book coming in July. I can't wait. This sweet card is by Brandi Mah of Alberta.
I can't wait to share more cards with you. Until next time Happy Stampin'.

A couple more cards for today. The card above is by Tamara Arnold. I love her Rock and Roll Technique on the ice cream and the use of dazzling diamonds. Too sweet!
This card is by Ellen Baker from Ontario. I love this set but have not purchased it yet.... I love the colour scheme here and the use of silver smooch spritz. A really lovely wedding card that could be accented with any colour to go with the wedding colours. I love the layout as well.
Thanks for stopping by, I'll be posting more projects this week.

I was recently in a Summer Mini Swap with other Canadian Demos. Let me just say that this was a cool swap and I was really happy with the cards I got back. So I will share a few with you over the next few days.
This card was one of my favorites. It was created by Alison Reid. I love the texture and the use of smooch spritz on it. It inspired me to make a similar card for Mothers Day.

Dates to remember... mark your calender.

May 31st: Order your retiring card stock by this date.

June 1st: Retiring List comes out. Stamp sets and accessories.
June 26th: New catalogues should be in hand. (they are a full 16 pages bigger)

I am ordering the catalogues on May 20th. The cost will be 10.00 each. Reserve yours today.

They are also FREE to Hostesses, or with 100.00 order.

I can't wait to get my hands on one. :)
Attention is required. I am sorry to report that Stampin'Up card stock has been at an all time high demand situation. SU! had told us all colours would be honoured until May 31st and as supplies were available after June 1st.
Demand for some colours has already depleted some stock. They had to decide between filling retiring colours or having the new core/in colours ready for July 1st. The new colours won the draw.
I am placing an order on the 26th of May, we are having a Party at Best Friends Fashion Bins at 7 pm.
I will be placing the order promptly and I hope that I can have all orders filled.
It is sad to say goodbye to some of the retiring colours. I will miss pale plum alot. But let's embrace the stunning new colours thate are coming our way. I have seen samples of the new In Colours (available for 2 years) they are fabulous.

I have been having some fun playing with the new set's from the summer mini. I think my favorite set is Elements of style. (if you purchase this set in May you will receive a package of designer brads FREE!)

I love how beautiful these stamps are and they don't need to be all fussy. It's actually been fun just doing clean simple cards. For this card I just water coloured, punched an eyelet border and used some of that beautiful satin ribbon. I do believe I have a ribbon fetish.

I made this card or a couple of them anyways for the Missionaries to send home to their Mom's. Cards are made to be sent right? Again just stamped and water coloured and then layered on Regal Rose and Old Olive. I took a glue pen and randomly outlined the flowers and used Dazzling Diamonds on it. I love bling!

This card is made with the same set just different images. I love the pretty humming bird. Actually this whole set totally rocks and pretty much is my favorite set ever, yes, I know that's a bold statement.....but true. This set is a MUST HAVE.
I also am loving the whole black and pink scheme. It feels so good to be settled in an Ayden free area and be stamping again. Almost on a daily basis, it feels so decadent. :)
Hey everybody, just a quick note that Stampin'Up! has some super cool and inexpensive items in their clearance rack. Check it out and score some great deals.

May is National scrapbooking month. I did this page using The My Digital Studio software. I love how quickly I can create and also the chance to use the papers and embellishments repeatidly without running out.

This is one of my favorite photo's of my Grandmother and was so happy that I can scrapbook it for future generation's.
