Just contact me for details.

Good Snowy Friday Morning. I love to be able to sit and watch the snow fall. We have not had much of it this winter, but hopefully we can get out and make some snow people later.

I have enjoyed some crafting time this past couple of weeks. This year started off with a bang and is just now starting to slow down some.

This is such a beautiful technique and I can basically sit anywhere and do it... even while watching a Go Diego Go marathon with Ayden.

The colours used here are calypso coral, riding hood red and poppy parade (markers) and the card stock is lucky limeade and poppy parade. I didn't give this colour a fair shake. Now it retires in the end of May...... and I love it. Oh well don't judge a colour by it's brightness.

The tutorial for this technique is in the post below. Check it out and see what you can create!

Happy Stamping.

I love the Occasions Mini. I know I say it all the time but really I love everything in it. I wish I could have it all, but I am super happy with what I have. This is a new technique called Marker layering. You can find the Tutorial HERE.

This was super fun and relaxing and really very addictive. I absolutely adore this set called,Bordering on Romance (125482) it coordinates with the Edgelets dies (125595) and the Textured Impressions embossing folders (123601) and you cannot be without that ribbon. It is so great to work with and so pretty. Great for feminine cards and pages.

Stampin'Up! has really picked up speed with these great products. I am placing an order on March 12th. Get these great products while they are available.

Happy stamping everyone!

I missed posting yesterday. As I had to go to the city and when we got back I was to tired to do anything. Our kids treated us to a great lunch yesterday and then we got to watch Cutthroat Island. (There is a valentine's day reference in it)

So this card is made super simple with the help of the heart framelits. I will be back tomorrow with a really fun technique that I am loving.

Happy Stamping!

I just adore how versatile the Apothecary Art set is. It can be coloured or you can leave it uncoloured. Also used in this card is the The Paper Doily die, it measures approx 4 1/4 inches. It is very pretty and can be used so many different ways. It is a little more time consuming to punch out the little bits, but it is well worth the extra effort.

I also love those little tiny pearls. So pretty with this set and a few others from the mini.

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

This is another sweet set from the mini. It's called You're my Type (125260) The typewriter reminds me of a friend. Who for so many years typed everything on an old battered typewriter.

It makes wonderful and quick cards a snap. It also comes with several cute sentiments.

Which makes it just my type. Have a Happy Sunday!

News Flash........ Stampin'Up! has just released some cool news. There will be no Summer mini starting this year. The New IBC goes into effect on June the 1st instead of June 30th.

We will have new style bigger mini's. (81/2by11 inches) One for Holidays and starting sooner and lasting longer. Yes, more great products for us. Spring will be the theme of the other mini.

Also the Definitely Decorative vinyl and the Simply Adorned jewelry line will be being discontinued.

So grab anything you really had your heart set on.

Happy Saturday. I have had a busy week but I wanted to drop in and share a card with you.

This card uses the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (125117), Everyday Enchantment paper (126154) as well as the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack (127279).

I love everything about these products, from the beautiful fresh images, to the amazing colour palette.

Good Tuesday morning. It is so nice to see the sun. Yesterday we had a snow storm and a storm day. So no school and no appointments. I love having an excuse not to leave home.

This card uses Soft Suede, Pool Party and Calypso Coral. I feel I'm kind of stuck in a colour scheme. But it's so pretty. :)

The paper and set are from the new Occasions Mini. The bird in the heart really caught my eye and I just love him. He is perfect for all occasions. The new heart framelits make layering a snap.

Remember that a 60.00 order can get you free set's, paper, ribbon and brads and other great stuff. But only until the end of March.

This is another new and beautiful set out of the mini. It is called Apothecary Art. It is one of my new favorites and it is beautiful paired with this paper . You can earn the paper FREE when you place a 60.00 order. It is so pretty and it is small prints prints in a beautiful selection of colours.

The colours used here are Pool Party and Calypso Coral. I used a blender pen and ink to colour in the flowers and leaves. The new label framelits make cutting a breeze.

Join me as I show more new product from the mini. Happy Stamping.

So the first month of 2012 is almost gone. I had such great plans to be super productive and to update the blog with cards and projects and some cool classes.

Funny how life has a way of changing your plans. On the morning of January 9th, my best friend and love of my life had a heart attack. After rushing him to the hospital, he needed to be airlifted to a bigger hospital in the city.

By the time I got the house, kids and chickens organized and made it to the hospital all was well and he seemed better. We spent a week in the hospital and have now been home for 2 weeks. Things are slowly returning to normal.....or as normal as our house can be.

I made this card for my sweetie. We do not really celebrate Valentine's Day, or am I really a heart crazy person. But a Heart seemed appropriate this year. Our 21st anniversary will be February 2nd so this is our anniversary card. I am truly grateful that he is here to share these days with me.

I used a new set from the occasions mini called Take it to Heart 125522.

Materials for card

card stock : Riding Hood Red, Black and Whisper White

Ink: Classic Black

Background stamp: French Script

Stamp sets: Take it to Heart 125522

Loving Thoughts 125845

Ribbon: 3/8th inch Pleated Satin Ribbon (Riding hood Red)

also used vintage wallpaper embossing folder and sticky strip.

Also used were the new Framlits dies. These are a must have and so easy to use. You get 6 sizes to a package and it comes in a great storage envelope as well. One set is hearts and the other set is labels. Awesome new product from Stampin'Up!

Happy New Year!

I know you all thought I had fallen off the face of the earth..... for awhile there it felt like it!

I haven't been crafting as much as I would like too, but that all changes with a new year and a fresh perspective. We had the worse thing I can imagine happening come true. In October we lost our sweet little angel Kylar to SIDS at the tender age of 3 months.

That knocked me on butt as we tried to cope with our loss and help his parents find peace with their's. But life goes on weather we want it to or not. As my Mother would say , Christmas will come, ready or not. So with that in mind we hunkered down to have a family oriented Christmas. To count our many blessings and to move on from this heartbreaking loss.

As my Children head back to the city for school and work, and the rest of us stay put here at home. I am back to work crafting and finding peace and healing in my art.

I hope this year is full of blessings and promise for all my reader's.

Fun things to be posted in the near future.

Have a fabulous day,

It has been kind of crazy around here since school got started. Always something to do and lots of driving around in the car.
I just wanted to share this cute little project with you. It was made using the milk carton die. But instead of cutting 1 you cut 2 and then you get this cute little box.
This was for Charlottes 16th birthday! It held a necklace that she had been wanting.
I gathered the ribbons to go on top and and stacked a couple of buttons to be the cherry on the top!
It looks alot like a cute little cupcake. There are so many things you can do with these little boxes.

The card above measures 5x5. I decided to go with monochromatic to keep it simple. So I used rich razzleberry. The DSP is pocketful of posies.

This card is 6x6 and used the same DSP. But I used a baja breeze base, with poppy parade ink, with a touch of night of navy.

The card is a little busier but I still like it.

Another sketch challenge over at Freshly Made. I really wish I could get more time to do these wonderful sketches. Who said in Fall your pace is more laid back...mine got busier.
