My challenge for VSN was Mulberry Batik. It is alot of fun! I had to keep it secret and alot of my friends were doing the technique but i couldn't share what i had done. But now I can. :)
I like using the SU! wheels (bold) for this technique. I also like the fact that if you don't have mulberry paper you can use a coffee filter. Now that I have finished looking at everybodies entries i have learned some cool new stuff.........check it out here--------} http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?mcats=all&si=MAY07VSNL&what=allfields&name=&when=&whenterm=&condition=andI really enjoy this technique as much as my iron enjoys being used once in a while.
This one was made with a coffee filter and another SU! wheel. The butterfly stamp is part of a huge fancy pants set that I adore. http://www.fancypantsdesigns.com/aprodstamps.html
The butterfly is from the Bella Brush set. I have the pollen dust set too! I heart them alot!
If you are interested in giving this a try here is a great tutorial from SCS http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/mulberrybatik.php
It is a really fun technique, hope you give it a go.
