The first one never wins but I'll give it a shot anyway. My favorite quote is: "Set me adrift on a sea of hope and I'll set my sail to a new horizon." I have no idea who the author is but it has been a favorite of mine since high school - it's under my photo in the yearbook my senior year!

Cute idea for blog candy!!

My favorite quote today would be:

"Children are the past, the present, and the future all blended into one. They are consummately precious. Every time a child is born, the world is renewed in innocence."

Fun candy question! I have seen this one recently and it has stuck with me-- "Be the change that you want to see in the world" --Gandhi

It's such a reminder to me to act. When I was younger I was so involved in politics, volunteering, etc. I'm sad to say as the years have gone by I've become jaded and lost that dedication and hope. Hopefully I can recapture the fire that was in me!!

my favorite quote: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can, and wisdom, to know the difference."

Because I am inherently cynical and jokey, this is my fav quote (from Steel Magnolias):

Clairee Belcher: Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!

There are a lot of quotes that come to mind but one I saw recently in my doctor's office that gave me a laugh was "A true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you are half-cracked." ~Author Unknown
Too bad Easters over with it would be cute with all those "egg" stamps. I guess you could still use it with some chicken stamps. lol

Here's my favorite quote...

A favorite quote of mine with the graduation season now upon us is

"The way you go must be your own decision"

I don't know who said it but I've tried to live by it with my own kids.

Fun candy you are offering!

fun blog candy, Lisa!! Especially that BIG OL' clip!!! MY favorite quote is from one of my favorite movies, The Life of David Gale with Kevin Spacey - it was based on a true story & I highly recommend it. I had to keep rewinding that part because I wanted to write down the quote. "Because in the way end the only way we can measure the value of the significance of our own lives is by valuing the lives of others" - David Gale

Hey Lisa, great candy! My most favorite quote:
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" ---Tom Hanks in Forest Gump
I know it sounds hokey, but it is true! Thanks, Lorrie

My favoritest quote EVER..."If you tiptoe through life it only means you arrive at death safely!" I love it!!

I will be subscribing to your blog. Thanks for the blog candy.
My favorite quote (actually I have 2) is "Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday." I think that keeps everything in perspective so that we live in today.
Another quote is by Thomas Jefferson and it says "We seldom repent of haven eaten too little". I use that one to control my eating.
Thanks again.

How is it that I'm not subscribed to your blog? Sorry Lisa, I'm going to go do that now. :) As for my favorite qoute.... it would have to be either "You know I love you more then my luggage" ~the movie Steel Magnolias

And then of course there's the one I actually qoute at least weekly IRL and that's "You'd shrivel up and die without my sparkling personality around." ~the movie Saturday's Warrior. hehe

Oh! There is also the one from Harry Potter 3 (the movie) where Dumbledore says "Let him sleep, for in dreams we can climb the highest mountains or swim the largest seas." Or something like that. LOL It's been a few months since I've seen it.
