I just love the stippled blossom's  stamp set.  I hope it doesn't retire in June.  I can't believe we are 2 months away from a New, Fresh and Fun catalogue.

This was created for a 95th Birthday for a very special lady!

I have made lot's of these card's or variations of.  What I did was I stamped pages of images.  Then while I was watching tv with the husband I cut them out.  I store them in the stamp containers that come with wood mount stamps and then I have a bunch of images ready to create with.  That's my tip of the day.

The colours I used here were Midnight Muse and Baja Blue, lucky limeade and old olive.  I embossed the midnight muse panel as well.  Pearls and Dazzling Details glitter add a pop of bling.
To give the card dimension, I added some stampin' dimensionals under some of the flowers and leaves.
It really adds some pop to the card.

I am trying something different as a card maker, and as someone who is trying to be more organized.  Even though I have tons of craft supplies..... I am always scrambling to get a last minute card together.

I am going to start being several cards or projects ahead.  How nice it will be to just walk into my craft room and choose a card, instead of having to make it.  I am planning to spend time in my room everyday.  Again with the organization, I have realized i spend way to much time doing nothing.

This is the card i made last night for a Birthday today.   But I stamped more images then I needed and will put them in a little box so I can make more cards like this.  I also plan to do the fussy cutting when I watch TV.  I can spend time with my husband and get something creative done!!!  How's that for organization.

I used the Stippled Blossoms, Four Frames, Medallion and En Francais stamp set's .   The ink colours are Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Midnight Muse, lucky limeade and Old olive.
The images were stamped then fussy cut and glued down or put on Pop Dot's.  Over all pretty darn happy with this on a first go round.

It's great getting back into something you love, when life has pulled you away for a bit.

Happy Stampin'!

Hello Stamper's!!!!

Apparently I have been MIA for so much longer than I thought.  But I guess that's what life is, it throws us some curves.  But I am back and stamping again and happy to be in my newly reorganized craft room.

I love this card, the colours are great for spring, which i swear is on the way.  Yesterday was sunny and beautiful and today SNOW!  That's Canadian weather for you.

I love this bunny stamp.  It is a part of the single stamp line and only available until the end of March.

This uses items from the Spring Catalogue and the SAB brochure.   Sale-a-Bration ends on the 22nd.  So you need to be quick if there is anything FRee you still have your eye on.

For every 60.00 in merchandise you spend you can get a free item from the SAB brochure.  Free is good!!!!

Well it is that time of the year again. Time to say good-bye to the retiring stamps. I haven't finished counting how many sets I will lose but it does happen every year. LOL The new catalogue will be several pages smaller so lot's of things need to go to make room for fresh and fabulous new stuff! The old catalogue now ends on May 31st. So you only have the next few weeks to pick up those set's that you must have. Book a party or place a customer party.
Ask me for details.

And now here's the list

It's an open and shut case, i mean card..... this is a really cool pop up self standing card. I hadn't tried it before because I thought it looked to complicated. I am a lazy stamper more than say 5 steps and you've lost me. But this was easy and well worth the effort.
It's a Birthday card for a special lady who is turning 94 today. She is an amazing example as she has just published her second book and is working on her third.
I used the prisma colour pencil technique and masking as well. My intention was to use the flirtatious paper but it is still in the package.
I plan to make more of these cute little gems.
Interested in learning to make these, book a party or a class. Let me help release your creative mojo.
Happy stampin'

Hello everybody and Happy Easter to all. We are having a beautiful day today and it is nice to have the family together for this weekend.
I just wanted to share these fun cards with you. I used the prismacolour pencils with Gamsol technique. I love colouring it brings back a simpler time.
I used the now retired paper from our Sale- a- bration promotion. I love it and will sneak it in here and there. I hate when sometimes we get such beautiful sets and they don't last to long.
But lucky for me there is always something new!!! Like I need more stuff.
The cards shown here use the centre step technique and are fun and simple to do!

Enjoy all this long weekend has to offer, I will be back to posting next week!

My eldest Daughters birthday was a few days ago. This was the cake I made her. Or rather giant cupcake. (pan by Wilton)
I wanted to make a special topper created just for her. Using the new Stampin'Up! die for the big shot I created the rosette. This was pretty simple and the rosette is flexible in size, this one is about 10 inches. She loves purple and green and of course Owls.......just like me.
I find it's best to use hot glue with the rosettes but they are pretty quick and fun to make.
Happy Stampin',
Lisa

Good Snowy Friday Morning. I love to be able to sit and watch the snow fall. We have not had much of it this winter, but hopefully we can get out and make some snow people later.
I have enjoyed some crafting time this past couple of weeks. This year started off with a bang and is just now starting to slow down some.
This is such a beautiful technique and I can basically sit anywhere and do it... even while watching a Go Diego Go marathon with Ayden.
The colours used here are calypso coral, riding hood red and poppy parade (markers) and the card stock is lucky limeade and poppy parade. I didn't give this colour a fair shake. Now it retires in the end of May...... and I love it. Oh well don't judge a colour by it's brightness.
The tutorial for this technique is in the post below. Check it out and see what you can create!
Happy Stamping.

I love the Occasions Mini. I know I say it all the time but really I love everything in it. I wish I could have it all, but I am super happy with what I have. This is a new technique called Marker layering. You can find the Tutorial HERE.
This was super fun and relaxing and really very addictive. I absolutely adore this set called,Bordering on Romance (125482) it coordinates with the Edgelets dies (125595) and the Textured Impressions embossing folders (123601) and you cannot be without that ribbon. It is so great to work with and so pretty. Great for feminine cards and pages.
Stampin'Up! has really picked up speed with these great products. I am placing an order on March 12th. Get these great products while they are available.
Happy stamping everyone!

I missed posting yesterday. As I had to go to the city and when we got back I was to tired to do anything. Our kids treated us to a great lunch yesterday and then we got to watch Cutthroat Island. (There is a valentine's day reference in it)
So this card is made super simple with the help of the heart framelits. I will be back tomorrow with a really fun technique that I am loving.
Happy Stamping!
